Cystic Fibrosis Care- Food Voucher Application
This Food e-Voucher request form is to help CF patients and families who are experiencing real difficulty. To qualify they should be receiving benefits, on low income or unemployed.

Cost of Living Crisis Support- last update 17/11/2022
The CF trust and other charitable organisations are offering financial support to help with the cost of living crisis. There are several different grants available:
- Home essentials fund – grant of up to £375 towards the cost of an essential homecare appliance; such as fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, cooker, bed and mattress.
- Cost of living fund - one-off grant of £225 to people in low-income households. This will usually be split over three months, with a payment of £75 each month.
- Emergency grants – £150 to support people when they are in immediate financial need.
- Health and well-being grant - grants are up to £350and help to assist with buying items or services that will have a positive impact on quality of life.
- Holiday grants - up to £300towards the cost of holidays, trips and short breaks.
- Water sure scheme – places a cap on water bills and can help towards the cost of water bills.
For anyone vulnerable, including people living with a chronic health condition, there is also the priority service register: https://www.britishgas.co.uk/priority-service-register
This is a free service with benefits such as ensuring you are on the best tariff, advance notice of power cuts and support in case of debt.
There is also help available to pay off energy debt and travel expenses to clinic appointments. Please let us know if you would like help applying for any of these.
There may also be benefits you are entitled to that you are unaware of. We can carry out a benefit check if you would like us to, to see if you are eligible for any extra income support. You can also do this using the CF trust benefits entitlement checker or by speaking to Sangeeta Enright, the benefits and welfare advisor at the CF trust.
